Week six Underground comics (5 points)

This week we had the opportunity to read the underground comics. this by the hand of Patrick Rosenkrantz in his book Rebelvisions. this book was like reading one of the strangest I saw. this because we are not used to challenging our morals and self-restriction. this kind of subject is very interesting in the way that opens the human mind in a very touching way. even if some of the subjects are completely inappropriate to be applied in the real-life the way are delivered by the medium of the comics opens a door to self-acceptance and to have reflexibility.

I think censorship more than being something to protect humans from deforming our sense of etic and morals is restricting the capacity to give value to those same aspects. the censorship creates an almost unbreakable truth and that type of dogma is actually creating a lie. we get used to getting told what to do or what to believe and it becomes easy to deny our own humanity.

there are many subjects I never expected to find in a comic book. in this case, I will talk about one in specific just to not make the text too long. this strip can be encounter possibly at the middle of the book and is about the perspective of a rapist. we see the perspective of a person who has intense sexual urges and completely exhausted from trying to get with a woman who likes him decides to become a stalker and ultimately a rapist. during the comic, one can understand the emotions and reasons for the actions of the rapist. not trying to say that those reasons are valid in any case, because the comic is not defending the point of view but just exposing the perspective ina very raw way.at the end of the strip, e have a chance to understand the deeper desires of the human body and how it can be appearing in the mind of someone to become something like a rapist. again this is just a display of perspectives and is not promoting any of this behavior for any reason.
